The Project

Bare Balance Skin is a coastal Australian skin clinic where expert beauty and personalised care are delivered hand-in-hand. With a skin-first and subtle approach the modern aesthetics, the brand exists for both men and women, providing a new and understated solution for all.

The name Bare Balance is a nod to the clinical teams approach to aesthetics—focussing first on skin health and care before offering a gentle introduction to targeted concerns, as and when the desire arises. The visual identity of the brand honours these brand values with a simplicity of colour and a focus on subtle shape and form—culminating in a polished, yet approachable long-term brand.

The Approach

The trusted experts in gently enhanced natural beauty.

With so much of the beauty space centred around the overdone aesthetic of ultra femme beauty with we saw an opportunity to widen our brands market—to talk to both women and men about their complex relationship to ageing. With the rate of skin care adoption rising for men, finding a brand solution that welcomed all genders equally was paramount. With a neutral colour palette and a diverse casting for the brand’s launch photography, the result is sophisticated, timeless and ungendered.

The Brand Identity

Grounded in a logo design that balances a surgeon-like attention to detail with and a beautiful celebration of shape and form, the visual identity for Bare Balance Skin captures the brand values through even the smallest of details. With a typographic approach that is as design-forward as it is sophisticated, and a sturdy primary colour palette of charcoal and stone, the brand expresses a calming professionalism, evoking feelings of safety and trust in its clientele. 

The Brand Roll Out

From the initial stages of naming and brand strategy, through to the development of a bespoke brand identity and website design, the Bare Balance brand has come to brilliant life— both digitally and physically.  

From beautifully produced, branded point of sale collateral, to a seamless and considered user journey across digital platforms, the Bare Balance brand is tied up in a pretty little bow.
